Dr. White is a board-certified plastic surgeon with over 25 years of experience serving patients throughout Southern and Central Maine. A proud Portland native, she brings deep local roots, exceptional surgical training, and a patient-centered philosophy to every aspect of her practice.

After graduating from Dartmouth College and earning her medical degree from the University of Vermont, Dr. White completed five years of general surgery training at Maine Medical Center before pursuing a Plastic Surgery Fellowship at the Lahey Clinic. Following her fellowship, she served on staff at Lahey before returning home to Maine in 1996 to join Plastic and Hand Surgical Associates. Over her tenure there, she held numerous leadership roles — including Division Director for Plastic and Hand Surgery at Maine Medical Center, President of Plastic and Hand Surgical Associates, and Liaison to the Maine Health Breast Center.

In 2020, Dr. White joined Central Maine Medical Center, where she served as Director of the CMMC Breast Program. There, she helped expand multidisciplinary breast cancer care and maintained the program’s accreditation while focusing her work on breast reconstruction.

Now, returning to private practice, Dr. White continues to focus on breast surgery, breast cancer reconstruction, body contouring, and hand surgery, offering patients the highest level of personalized, compassionate care. Her philosophy centers on education, collaboration, and shared decision-making, ensuring that every patient feels informed, respected, and confident in their care plan.
